Executive Board Overview
The Executive Board’s job is to enrich the experiences and lives of every Ad Club member. Through the work we do, board members gain hands-on experience in planning, leadership, and design. We’ve got some exciting plans for the spring semester and we’re looking for new people to help us build on everything we’ve accomplished so far!
We’re all on the same team. Whether you’re on the exec board or a member, no one is above anyone else. Our mission is to push the club forward, have fun doing it, and ensure that every member walks away with something valuable from their time in Ad Club.
Please note that executive board positions are extremely limited and have strict requirements. Even if you’re not chosen for the exec board, you’re always welcome as a valued member of Ad Club, and you’ll be automatically added to the Ad Club Freelancer List for future opportunities.
Exec Board Application Requirements
To apply for the Executive Board, please make sure you meet the following:
Attended at least 5 Ad Club events during the Fall 2025 Semester.
Be respectful and open-minded.
Be reliable and ready to contribute.
Submit a piece of work you’re proud of and tell us why it matters to you.
Commitment:
Event attendance is mandatory for all exec board members.
Weekly exec meetings are required and essential to your role.
Introducing Ad Club Freelancer
Sometimes, during our bigger events or special projects, we need a few extra hands in strategy, design, or production. That’s where Ad Club Freelancers come in!
If you’re interested in getting involved in either filming events,creating content, or helping manage social media during busy seasons then you can apply to be an Ad Club Freelancer. We’ll reach out whenever opportunities come up! It’s a great way to stay involved and build experience without the biggest commitment.
We'll review freelancer applications throughout the year, so feel free to apply anytime!
Application Timeline
1. Applications Open
Monday, November 17th.
2. Applications Close
Monday, November 24th at 11:59 PM.
No late submissions will be accepted. Make sure you’ve completed everything before the deadline!
3. Interview Period
Monday, December 1st - Friday, December 5th.
Selected applicants will be invited for short interviews with current board members. This is your chance to share your vision and ask any questions for Ad Club.
4. Final Decisions
Monday, December 8th.
The Spring 2026 Executive Board will be officially announced as we prepare for the new semester! Information will be sent to the new team over winter break we’ll hit the ground running in January.
